The origins of Granda Nova


GRANDA NOVA IS DEAD, LONG LIVE GRANDA NOVA !

This game is a version, yet incomplete, made with assets for Wareware studio's Granda Nova. Our team spent years on making this project and we came up with this look and feel... until we called it a day. 

As I wanted to showcase the graphics and musics I made so far, this 'slice' is the testimony of what my vision of the game would have been, with my humble means as a hobbyist developper. It's far from being a treat to my great Game Designer teammate Jonas, but it was all I can do before dropping the final Curtain on this project. 

The mechanics here are pretty gimmicky but the true goal was to actually offer the opportunity for a one-shot player to have a glimpse of what could be an actual polished flavor behind all the characters. The synergy of the group was the core of our intention and I focused my work on giving them some style.

A PROTOTYPE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ITS ART WORK

There is still so much more I would like to do, to show even more of what we made, to complete WIP, tweak a few things even in this protoype... But it serves its purpose at this point : showcasing our work and especially mine.

I was in charge of all the graphics (characters, environment, UI, VFX), animations included, and of the Music you hear during the game. From the concept to the delivery, for each one of them.
I  have all sort of ways to show the amount of work I did for this project, like a book, a video ... but I also wanted a way closer to the intented result : a game.
